Are they all I need (installed in that order) or do I also need "Far Cry v1.32/AMD64 Upgrade (UK/US)" - another 500mb?

I think that's the 64-bit upgrade that'll only work on x64 Operating Systems

I think you need the 64-bit texture pack

Patch 1.30
Patch 1.30 - 1.31
Patch 1.31 - 1.33
The ECU patch you linked to

The v1.32 patch is included in the v1.33 patch, so it's not needed. :)

It seems to me like they're following the same trend as Doom III, Chronicles Of Riddick, and Quake IV... Just slapping on as much shiny lights and bump mapping as possible, which makes everything look even more unrealistic and "gritty" in the long run.

I don't know what's with game developers these days, but this "show off new tech regardless of how it looks" approach really put me off the above three games. Less so for Chronicles Of Riddick though, was more well-done in that than the other two which just looked horrid IMO.

I'd rather that they made it so that the enviroments where more realistic, ie not textures of an image thats ment to look like gravel or tarmac, but actualy having the little facets that these things have, actualy using all those little little textures rather than one big ass 1600x1200 for the ground.
I know its going to screw the systems over but its what we should head for.
