Did you notice any difference on the 64bit mod? I couldn't tell tbh, but I can't enable HDR on my X850XT so maybe that's why.

Yeah - FarCry uses SM3.0 HDR iirc.

That will be it. Though I think the screenshots above are from the 64 bit patch, which requires 64 bit OS. I got this damn dual core 64 bit chip, but cant exploit it fully cos I can't afford to fork out for another version of XP. grrrrrrr

Officially that's true but there is a way to get the 64 bit textures on the 32 bit version. I can't remember it myself unfortunately (I have a 64 bit OS with the 64 bit upgrade)

Ohhh i need a new OS anyway for my new comp, has it got better driver support now? Will games like WOW work on XP 64?

Screenies look great, can't wait to get my teeth into it!

Also, what FPS are you getting with HDR + AA on there mate?

I don't see why not - I haven't had any problems with the vast majority of games on XP x64. Some have 64-bit versions like UT2004, HL2 and FarCry too

The only games which don't work AFAIK are games with StarForce encryption and some old DOS games (the original SiN didn't work for me)

As far as I know it's just Far Cry for the PC, I got it ages ago. I'm using patches 1.1, 1.3, 1.31, 1.33 and 1.4b with the 64bit patch.

Patch 1.31 - 1.33
The ECU patch you linked to

Are they all I need (installed in that order) or do I also need "Far Cry v1.32/AMD64 Upgrade (UK/US)" - another 500mb?
