Im starting to wish id never posted the 1st pic

Either way im still playing because theres more to it than just game mechanics, i still have a lot of friends who still pay there subs every month and its a good way to keep in touch and have a laugh every now and then. Yes i remember waiting the 10mins for the shuttle at coronet infront of a packed house on a friday night it was awesome, now just a mear memory

No i have to disagree, on the whole the game has a much more pleasant atmosphere since the nge and has achieved much more acclaim. Of course there will always been reactionary elements that whine however most normal people have agreed that the changes were for the better.

Just started playing HL2 again... i never completed it

That's what I love about HL2 not only is the story mode so good (Coast levels = immense) but it runs amazing on lots of different hardware.

Nearly finished it, i got quite a bit further than where i am in the screenshots, FRAPS just decides to stop taking the screenshots after every loading bar.

Have to agree there, The FakeFactory Hi-Res texture pack improves upon the prettiness quite a bit as well. The sounds included in that mod are also very good.

I believe the health and ammo indicators on the side of the crosshair are new for Ep1.
