I know what they are.

They are in the game but are AI-only, which is why the model is pretty poor. I'll have a look to see if I can download anything to make it look better before I post pictures. It's shockingly bad, I've rarely flown near them though.

Look at it this way:

The game is designed for you to plan your way though a variety of SAM systems and air cover, whilst working out the best way to deliver your payload to different types of targets, in different weather.

For example:
I fly my A10, finding the weakest point in their SAM defence. If needed, I hug the ground creating problems for their radar. I pop up, take my shot then leave. In the above, I lost 1 engine, a load of fuel and my hydrolics. My escape route *had* to be low.

Now, for the SR-71:
You'd fly over to the target site in seconds. Take a photo. Turn back. Game time: 5 seconds. Thrilling.

For the F-117:
It is poor in a dogfight and lacks long-range radar. It's unknown in a2a combat and only has rumours of crew training. That'll mean it'll be a2g then. Point it in the right direction, hit auto-pilot, drop bombs. You'd maybe touch the joystick once, plus a few other buttons. Thrilling.
