One of the best single player games I've ever played really. I don't know why exactly - I just loved the art styling, the acting was the best side of passable, and the sounds were spot on.

Just had a scout round and found it on the "Best Of" series and it was just 7.99, should be here wednesday :) Can you do custom res on it, I had a few problems with the Doom3 demo to get it to run the res of my 26inch Samsung TV. (1360x768)

i found it way more engrossing than FEAR or HL2 at the time, dunno why, it's actually quite a generic shooter, heck it even has one of those on the rail shooting sections that countless console games have. Yet the game is absolutely brilliant.
 
Firegod. what mods are you using with quake 4. im tempted to reinstall (for about the 5th time) never got past about the 5 checkpoint! oh, does it use duel core by default?

really? on mine i get a message saying 'cannot locate the quake 4 dvd' Please insert the quake 4 DVD, select ok and restart the application

will try it again after ive installed 1.3 patch though. Where did you get the gtx mod from, ive found 1.3 patch now
