The 800x600 MAXIMUM screenshot thread (56k no no)

And the only way to stop that happening is using 800x600 or 1024x768 screenshots, or like me you could just have thumbnails.

It's the 800x600 MAXIMUM screenshot thread. Fact is the majority of people are capable of either linking or resizing.

The few who can't either missed the title, think their screenshots are better than everyone elses, are too lazy to conform to the rules or think they don't apply to them.

Just obide by the thread title and op and people won't complain.
 
Seriously though, this thread is in the pc gaming section, anyone taking part in this thread is not going to be on a slowass connection or low resolution screen and even still a 1MB line will load a 1024x768 JPEG perfectly fine even if every post in a thread has 1 screeny at that res.. reloading a page loads it from the cache too so it's not like people have to sit through any loadin

I think we need to have a look in perspective here and get with modern times.
 
I take my screenshots in batches and instead of converting them all down I just leave them as they are and let Flickr resize them to 1024 x 640 which is still pretty small and doesn't stretch the page.

Medium size on Flickr is too small, and large is a tad over the limits of this thread, either way I fail to see the problem, my images are around 400-500k and don't stretch the page any further. It's not like the majority of people are using 1024x768 resolution or lower.

That's all very logical but if you know the rules of the thread and have read the title then you really have no excuse. If your pics are larger than 800x600 just don't post them.

I suggest you either contact a mod for a change to this thread, or start a new thread and see if it takes.

sorry about the quality of the M2TW shots, I used the ingame screen taker, and it saves them as low quality Jpegs and I forgot to turn up the quality settings

My first impressions were that those pics were dx10, dx9 still looks pretty damn good so even if dx10 causes large fps drops sticking it back to dx9 isnt that bad.
