Ultima Online, basically after I quit WoW I found they're opening BETA for the Kingdom Reborn graphic update. So decided to try to get in. Subscribed for a month and see how it goes, still good fun despite the changes.

Never played COJ first time round as it ran ass on my 6800GT but now it runs much better (albeit a bit slower than XP on Vista)

No brother, that's DX9 with HDR and DoF enabled

- I was surprised too! the DX10 patch is out "soon" though as far as I know. I expect the DX10 patch to make things run better too in Vista since it's a more efficient over DX9 and native to Vista.

What is the game that Jihad posted? and reccomended specs? been desperate to play a FPS with snipers etc for ages.. had to dig out Delta Force 2 to quench my thirst briefly.

It's BF2142, runs beautifally on my system with Maxed out settings @ 1440x900

Flickr's medium is too small, and the large is too big.

Was the first thing I did after installing - unfortunately it didn't seem to make much difference

dont forget if you run with VSync to avoid tearing to use triple buffering as well to make things smooth!
DXTweaker is what you need...
