Manhunt:

Manhunt.jpg

Seems to work in Vista, although it won't run at 1280x1024 (it decides to run in a 640x480 window instead) so I'm running it at 1280x960 instead. It's also got a large amount of video noise over the screen, although this isn't in the screenshot and it doesn't seem to work properly with dual monitors - you can move the mouse over to the other screen and it'll minimise when you click the mouse. Rather fustrating! Haven't found a patch for it yet either

you need to run the game in window mode if you dont want it to minimize while clicking the other screen. I've no idea if manhunt supports window mode though ;p

I'll give that a go - I guess so as it sets itself up in a 640x480 window when I choose 1280x1024. I haven't had the problem with the mouse going over to the other screen with other games before though!

A few screens from the ET:QW public beta, these are converted from bmp as i didnt want to pay for fraps and print screen didnt work :( max settings 1280x1024

Fraps will tell you, screenshots tab. Fraps icon should be in the tray to the bottom right.
Either that or search the entire hard drive for .bmp in the last week

it stutters a bit in cut scenes, zooming in while playing isnt totally smooth but from max distance birdseye it is completely smooth. Id guess around 20-30fps but ill check with fraps as soon as i getting it working in vista

Stuttering in the cutscenes with your specs, any ideas why this is, maybe dx10 textures or the optimizing?

I really have no idea. Oh on the thrid map i found after playing it for a while (20 minutes) then the whole level would stutter at any view. Saving and loading the game resolved this... Dx10 is definately buggy

Sorry for late replies, i have been away from home for the night,

@JaFFa : the screenshots are stored in C:\fraps no subfolders, just sat in there, my hotkey is f10 though, so f11 may be where you are going wrong,

@Steve : I'm currently getting 60fps in most places, it drops to 30 at some points but thats only when everyone is spawning at the start of a map

Ah, didnt see you used fraps (I own the full version :D :D ) Skip the writing, nice pictures.

Will see if I can get some pics, all on low settings though because I prefer FPS to eye candy.
