Still on the phone (used the number from Raymond Lin) - having to spell everying in bloody nato alphabet!

Even needed to spell Gamma Oscar Oscar Gamma Lima Echo Mike Alpha Indigo Lima :eek:

Just hung up, can't connect me cuz the office block was built only a year ago and its not registering on their system yet... I'm not allowed a 3 contract :(

Screw that, give me o2 and british call centres any day of the week! - I'll pay the extra.

I have no idea how they haven't realised that having india-only call centres lose them loads of business, look at the difference in setting up your iPad on o2 vs 3, 1 minute vs 30+ (or in my case, never)... at least have a small uk call centre for when there's an issue like mine.

they must be mad.
 
it took me 16 minutes to register with 3 for their 7.50 a month offer. Worked fine after I changed my APN settings that they didn't tell me on the phone! Username: three.co.uk and no password.

That call was mostly taken up with spelling out names of things and repeating credit cards numbers.
 
if the £2.50 is the only difference, I'd be inclined to stay with o2 for an easy life, but is the 3 network itself (coverage, 3G speeds etc) any better?

Considering wether I want to go through that again after work... stressed me right out wanted to knife myself in the leg!

is that the standard APN setting for everyone ?
 
I'm still using my chopped up O2 Pay-as-you-go SIM in mine. Been using that SIM for over two weeks now and it's still fine.

Got my Orange and Three Micro-SIMs delivered at the weekend though, so once it sounds like Three have sorted out their customer service I'll give them a try...

still can't believe I had to spell googlemail to them.
 
OK so i've got my 32/3g iPad and very nice it is too. What is the opinion about screen protectors? Does it need one? Was thinking about the zagg. Anyone else bothering with any kind of screen protection?
