You can, using simplify media (iphone app) not sure if it has been updated for the ipad yet, but it works, perfectly, takes a while to sync if you have a large library in itunes, but after that, worldwide access to play your tunes from your (on) pc to your pod/phone/pad anywhere, is priceless :)
 
Had another play in the apple store today, im actually tempted to get one of these before I change my iphone 3g to a iphone4
 
for all the non apple addicted who bought a IPAD, are they a viable replacement for a laptop that is used most for surfing in the lounge etc

Yes. It's perfect for that as long as you don't mind the lack of Flash compatibilty. For me it's only been the odd occasion where I've missed flash. Hopefully Apple will one day sort out whatever reason they don't like Flash.

My laptop hasn't been touched since I got this iPad except when I needed to unauthorise it for iTunes.

It's also great for checking work emails before I set off in the morning so I don't have any great surprises when I get in. Much easier than booting up my PC.

This was the main reason for me ordeing one in the first place.
Nearly bought one today and cancelled the order, but couldn't justify the extra 170.00 over the base one I have ordered.
 
I really wish facebook would release an official iPad app,I am currently using the iPhone one.

Does anyone know of a way to somehow use the iPad as a tv remote and ps3 remote, or at least let me turn the ps3 on or off?

Since last night I've been using my iPad without the crappy rubber case I have whilst waiting for my Dodocase. I do not like holding it naked, the iPad not me, as it feels like it's going to slip from my hands.

It's now back in the crappy case.

It was a waste of money.
I bought it just for the hype factor. I haven't used it much at all but I know it will come handy on the odd occasion so im keeping it.

Well I have a 3GS so tend to use that most of the time to pick up mail, odd bit of surfing, quick blast of gaming.

If I do use it its to have a 30min blast on angry birds or Roswell fighter.
Hopefully, as there's more apps and more support for it i will use it more.

I think the £7.50 for Three 1Gb im paying is also a waste.
 
Hmm think I might need to upgrade the 3 data plan just watched two episodes of top gear on BBC iplayer and it's a good chuck gone :eek: bloody love it though just had some guy showing of his blackberry phone to a friend on the train and I pull out the iPad, classic envy lol:D
