I was just thinking about second hand iPads and how the warranty would work? Like if someone had bought one, set it up with their itunes account and then restores it to sell it. What then happens to the warranty?

the warranty isnt tied to the itunes account

its tied to the device.

There is nothing to transfer. Apple will warranty a device for 1 year from the date of manufacture without proof of purchase. If you can produce proof of purchase they will warranty for one year from the purchase date. Regardless of whether or not you are the first owner.

I'm always puzzled why people go on about no Flash support too, when Blackberries don't support Flash and the only Android phones that do seem to crash quite often and use a huge amount of battery to run it..

Your forgetting Nokias that run flash very well indeed (N900 especially).

Is anyone on the "priority list" for one of these at the Regent St shop? I've been on it since 26 June, and they said 3-5 days, but still no sign! I got the email saying "you're moving up the priority list" and to be patient yesterday, but would appreciate how long others have been waiting either (a) from first being put on the list and/or (b) following receipt of the "be patient" email.

iPad 3G??

I see the iPad 3G version has several network providers that can be used and all of them seem to be on contract terms.

If i was to get an iPad 3G i would prefer pay as you go, i assume pay as you go is not an option or have i missed something.

Ok so im going to be getting one this week. Main use will be for when i have a lengthy car trip when i go watch stoke play away should be a perfect time killer as long as im not driving that is

I dont need a 3g version as i can just use my driod phone to do wireless tether.

Would you go for the 16GB or 32GB one?

I got an Orange iPad sim. That is totally Pay-As-You-Go hence why I went with Orange.
