Well, I bet small to win big, so I do the opposite....look for a team 1-0 down and weigh up their chances of turning it around.

Don't really bet the stakes needed for in-play to be really worthwhile tbh

They're not, hence why you need a big stash to play with originally. 10 in play bets could get you £100 for example, and they're all pretty safe.

Blackburn were one of, if not the favorites as well!....Good old Venkys:p
I doubt it will happen now though, as they need 13 points from their last game to reach the play-offs

I quite like Ladbroke's new layout actually...and I don't know if anyone else has, but I have had 2x£10 free bets from them in the last 2 weeks!

I mainly use PaddyPower, but also Ladbrokes, as it is my favourite poker site.

Depending on team news, I am probably gonna go for N'Zogbia to score anytime tonight at 4/1, maybe even to score first at 10/1.

First time posting on here, but just got into putting small amounts on the football and thought i'd ask a question!

Bet365 are doing a free in game bet on the madrid dortmund game tomorrow, matching a pre match bet with a in game bet and refunding the ingame bet if it doesn't come through.

Am i right in thinking if you do a simple Madrid to win pre match - then Dortmund/draw in game then it's guaranteed win win?

I think some betting companies then to have a clause that restricts you from doing that kind of bet. Nothing wrong with you going Dortmund/Draw with another betting company though if they also have a free bet offer.

Andybtsn - Thats generally my tactic aswell, although sometimes it can backfigure spectacularly when you lump a grand on a team winning in the 90th minute and then the other team equalises :(

Nice little acca for tomorrow:

FC Puuma vs JK Tammeka Tartu II (11/10) - Puuma played 7, lost 7, GD -14 already. Tammeka won 0-4 away at Flora II who are a lot better than Puuma. Should be about 2/5. Tammeka are +1 GD after 6 games but don't tend to score hatfuls, however I still expect a comfortable 0-2, maybe 0-3 win.

Kivioli Irbis vs Flora Tallinn II (5/6) - Flora II aren't brilliant but Kivioli are just awful. -16 GD from 5 games which they lost all 5 of. Flora II have only won 2 out of 7 but are a mile better than this lot. Kivioli have lost 5-1, 5-0, 3-0, 3-0, and 1-2 so far to average teams.

Levadia Tallinn II vs Vandra JK Vaprus (8/13) - 3rd vs 8th here and in these leagues, the difference between the top few and the bottom teams is astronomical. The only curve-ball here is that Vandra have only played 3 games compared to the rest of the division having played 7 or 8. Levadia's fairly healthy GD suggests they can score against teams like this and Vandra's only win was against the god awful Puuma 2-1.

Nomme Kalju II
vs FC Elva (2/5) - Again, Elva have only played 3 compared to 7 or 8 for everyone else but their only win was against Flora III 2-1 who are bottom with 1 point from 8 and conceded 24 in that time. Kalju are 2nd in the league winning against some of the better teams and thrashing Flora III 5-1 so this should be a routine win by a healthy margin.

K-Jarve JK Jarve vs HUJK Emmaste (3/4) - Should be a lot shorter that this. Emmaste are top (5-1-1) but both teams games tend to have few goals in. K-Jarve only drew with Flora III at home (Flora's only point this season), and scraped a 1-0 win over Tallinna Dunamo who are 1 place below them.

Cheers Dazza, i'll keep an eye out for those. Don't think Betfair cover Estonian games though.

On a side note, has anyone experienced issues with the "Cash Out" function with betfair? Recently it seems to be unavailable more than its available for me and there've been quite a few instances where i've wanted to bail on a bet and it's not let me :(

You obviously have your reasons but the odds on Betfair are much better for all of those. 0-3 is 140.00 for example; almost double.

Not only that, if some of the scorelines do come up he'll end up losing money. Don't understand the need for so many different bets when you could end up losing with a winner

Well my thinking is i have 10 chances of getting the score right as opposed to putting money on just one score. I bet £20.

3 of those bets will make a small profit. £2-£6. ( Withdraw my original £20 and try my luck with the rest )

3 of those bets are pretty decent rate of return £10-£14 back.

3 of those are good rates of return £32-£142

1 of those odds loses me £1 but could potentially save me £19 as there's a good chance that score could happen.

You'd still be better off on Betfair:

Like I said I'm sure you have you reasons for using whatever bookies you are but just wanted to make you aware :).

The 2-3 is the girlfriend's bet so mine are covered by the lowest return (£18 @ 2-1).
