Anyone do high-stake quick-cash out bets? Trying it at the moment but the trouble is it's a lot to risk and hard to practice given the stakes required.

For example I just made £43.39 by betting £200 on the Chelsea/Basel game finishing 3-1 @ 1.96, leaving it two minutes and then cashing out. I cashed out for a guaranteed £35.69 and I then stuck all that on 3-1 again so every result bar was £0.00.

I only saw the last 15 minutes of the game but if I'd left the original £200 bet I'd have won £180 .

Only doing 1 more bet tonight, Baltimore Orioles to win in baseball.

Wish i did Cardozo 2 or more as a single...his goalscoring record is very good and surprised no top English clubs go for him.

Baltimore won 5-1, nice. xD

Don't worry about it Dazza, end of the day we all know the risks involved with betting. After reading your post i went and checked a few stats myself and decided it was worth a punt. 9/10 it probably wouldn't netted me a tidy profit, this time it didn't. Tis life and you should'nt feel guilty about it :)

Out of interest what do you mean by cover the double chance? I tend to do all my betting on Betfair Exchange and aren't familier with the term.

If there's little or no liquidity on betfair and the bookies have the game too, say Tammeka were 1/50, the double chance covers Tammeka not winning at the opposite of 1/50 basically (so 10 or 12/1), got every eventuality covered then for a profit.

Been a good day so far for me today (touches wood...) after a couple of weeks where i've lost quite heavily i've gone from £1500 this morning to about £3600.

Man City reserves at 1.85 to beat Rochdale reserves was a steal. They didn't start the season very well but they've been on a winning streak recently!

I need to learn to go with my gut a bit more. Had a feeling Sunderland would pull it back last night and considered laying stoke at 1.3.

Decided against it in the end and was gutted to see it ended a draw.

My weekend was a little dissapointing, however i bet on Chelsea to win at around 3.25 after seeing the teamsheets. That seemed to turn it around and since i've turned £500 into about £3k :)

Just looking at some footy specials and these have made me wonder what's going on at certain clubs..

David Moyes Club At Start Of 2013/14 Season

Man Utd 6/4
Everton 2/1
Any Other 6/1
No club 6/1

When will Fergie leave Man Utd?

2013 5/6
2014 11/4
2015 9/2
2016 13/2
2017 or later 8/1

Man Utd next manager

David Moyes 1/2
Jose Mourinho 10/1
Ole Solskjaer 10/1
Jurgen Klopp 14/1
Pep Guardiola 16/1
Ryan Giggs 25/1

Someone somewhere obviously thinks Moyes will be taking over this summer

Nervy times ahead now fella :p

Unbelievable scenes in the Derby Burton game. At 60 minutes Derby were 6-2. Burton just equalised with the last kick to make it 8-8! I can imagine that giving some people huge losses if they backed Derby at high stakes with low odds!

I'd say beating Arsenal 0-2 at the Emirates is a bigger away win than 2-3 at Wigan :)
edit: Just worked out you mean in terms of goals scored

You heard it here first about fergie :p

190 £1
490 £1
800 £4
970 £3
990 £1
1000 £6

^ Odds on betfair on David Moyes becoming manager, someone got 999/1
