I've never managed to do it, even after loads of experimentation. I rarely reboot though so if I do, I just drag my sammy sidebar to the right of my second screen.

The doubly annoying thing is that in the config edit the 'canvas' is the full size of my two screens, yet it seems to ignore it if you drag the config over to the second screen. Pity really - might go and post a suggestion on the Samurize forums....

Mine goes onto my second monitor... after rebooting ...have

* Normal window behaviour selected
* Locked Position selected......

drag it over .. then click lock ... seems to work for me ?
Dual view is selected.

Hey, anyone use Avedesk? I was thinking about using it for an iTunes skin, or anything else that takes my fancy. Is it a bit of a system hog? Any comments on it welcome.

Very nice program, its getting better each release although I am unsure of the kind of system resources it uses.

You can get iTunes skins without it though!

Hey,

You guys with the samuirze problems with the second monitors, have you tried the Pin to desktop option?

If that doesn't work a temp workaround would be to set your secondary monitor as your primary monitor and then samurize automically assigns to that?

Thanks. Ive got a few skins already for iTunes using the Multi-Plugin. Just the ones using Avedesk looked a lot nicer

I have no problems with Samurize on my second monitor. Ive got it set to 'use designed position' and 'pin to desktop'. Very occasionally I have to reload the config.

I believe that will be the key for the people with samurize problems....When editing in the config you need to move all the config to wherever set pixels you want it to be on the monitor but remember to add the pixels of your primary monitor aswell.

It works with IconPackager, but my mate done it, when I was on holiday, no idea, what anything is called, uninstalled it straight away. :rolleyes:

All my sammy configs based on "Element" stay where they are put on my second monitor without a bother (at startup or after refreshing). My current one- 'Glass' -doesn't, so it could be something in the config... no idea what though.

Edit: Found it. There was a meter called "config position" with a set x/y value. Deleted that and now it stays where I want on my second monitor
