EDIT: Just realised how crap the second wallpaper is, never noticed all that pen-over as football manager is usually up on that screen.

Patching my uxtheme on 64-bit windows hasn't been very successful though :( so i've had to resort to it to get away from the dreaded luna!!!

Theme: Milk (Orange)
Wall: "Abstract Light (Orange)" - by me (available on my blog/site)
Icons: Milkanodized
Apps: Deskshade, Quicksilver and Konfabulator
 
my new one just need icon replacement for winamp, mirc, thunderbird and firefox (b&w or monochrome ones that are good are hard to find :( ):

Why exactly is windowblinds horrid? Granted, you can get better looking msstyles than WB skins - there are some truly horrific examples at wincustomize. But contrary to popular belief windowblinds is actually a mature, well developed application....

Thankfully in my case windowblinds is using less than 1mb of memory so i'm not too worried. And it has matured a bit since I last used it (which was about a year or 2 ago lol) :)

Incorrect. You can switch off the 'themes' service if you use windowblinds, thus reducing the memory footprint of svchost.exe. As Dru points out, windowblinds only consumes minimal amounts of RAM and CPU time.

Also, windowblinds uses hardware acceleration when applicable and has been shown to outperform PC's using standard msstyles.

And no, I do not work for Stardock.

Sorry, but, did you have any problems with that theme (Black Mesa)? I copy the folder to Resources\Themes but its not listed in the Display Properties have to double click on BlackMesa.msstyles!! Never had that problem b4 :confused:

I have mine turned off yeah. Windowblinds doesn't need it :)

And I think I'm gonna have to get that black mesa theme ported to windowblinds. It looks great.

I'm using this theme as well, and I had the same problem. Try changing the name of the folder in Resources\Themes to BlackMesa (no space between the words).
