The All New Desktop Thread, Images No Larger Than 800x600

what music player do you guys use? I find winamp is properly boring been using that for years now need some changes i think :p
also where do you guys generally get your vista icons and themes for patched uxtheme.dll?
 
I use KMPlayer as it allows loads of stuff out of the box, and plays almost every format, and well. :)

For Windows XP uxtheme.dll stuff I go to DeviantArt...or did, then I found one I really like and haven't bothered to look for more. :) I don't know about Vista stuff though, never bothered to skin it when I had it.

anyone know how to install vista themes that does not have .themes file? just the .msstyles nothing happens when i double click on the file and if there is no .theme file it's not listed in the Theme window of windows and you can select it

Look what I did with Aurons wallpaper.... Also plus is great for msn cos you can use transparency with contact list and/or convo window, window tabbing and quite a few other cool features.

Just copy the files into the

*:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder (where * is your OS drive)

You'll need something like Vize or VistaGlazz installed, or you could manually patch the uxtheme.dll, to make them work though otherwise you'll just end up with the classic look.

I always leave it as Autohiding and never really notice that 1pixie worth on the bottom - but then again, I'm running on 1900x1200, 1pixie lost is like meh~
