Objectdock v Rocketdock .Which is best? I'm not using either at the moment and was wondering if there was much difference. Both made by the same company, Stardock?

Dont think stardock make rocketdock, think its just a freeware company. They both function in very much the same way and theres not one thing i can think of that the other cant do. As a matter of personal pref i like objectdock because i used it before rocketdock. :)

Both pretty much the same tbh, with objectdock you can add a start menu button if you want, which I don't believe you can do with rocketdock. But I use rocketdock because I don't like having names above the icons when I hover over them. You can remove the labels with objectdock too but you cannot when it comes to stacksdocklets, so no brainer for me, rocketdock.
They can both use .pngs icons, same backgrounds, have zoom effects etc.

I thought you could turn off the tags in the stacks global settings tab?

Id look but ive not got any docks atm :p

So you can, just delete %d time or open folder text... seems to do it, ive wondered (well not really as I would have googled :rolleyes:) what they were.
But it is made more simple with rocketdock 'disable icon labels' :p
 
A change after so long!

I am literally way too picky on desktop wallpapers, virtually only a handful of walls take my fancy :(

That is a bad film, I would stop watching it right now If I were you. I like the way both you and I seem to coincidentally obtain the same HD rips all the time :rolleyes:.
