Hey I'm using media player classic 
What media player you using Mrk? Looks good
MPC/ MPC HC If you play a video and press '1' it will get rid of everything except the picture, set it to be on top and you can watch and browse.

1,2,3. And also ctrl + 1,2,3,4 to switch modes.

Hmmm, might give it ago. Still love VLC tho, plays everything I throw at it

MPC seems to give MKVS a weird greyish tinge, whereas VLC gives me flawless picture quality. XFX 4850 btw.

My desktop is actually on 1360 x 768 hence why the image appears more zoomed in, but I prefer it like it - less empty space.

Mkv files for me work best on mpc vvvvs vlc a I use DXVA

Only problem is the timezone is +1, I tried editing it in the .ini to our timezone but it never worked. If you find out how to correct it please do tell.

I managed to sort out the timezone.
Change "Timezone=+1.0" to "Timezone=+0.0"
and change all three "DaylightSavingTime=1" to "DaylightSavingTime=0"
Then just refresh the skin.
