Not had a lady on my desk in a while....

Create a folder on the desktop called "Desktop" (Or whatever), treat this as your desktop, shift everything into there that is not an application shortcut.

Or create a 2nd desktop with nview and when you wanna load the icon'd desktop simply right click "desktop > icon desktop" - easy.

I hate nview

, my brother has a nVidia card, I hate how it places itself in right click, and right at the bottom too, where "close" should be when you click the taskbar.

You can have that option with normal explorer, right click -> Arrange Icons by -> Show desktop icons
