April Ends in two days! My patience is also ending! Alone in the dark! Guess I can wait for April 2016!
Feel your pain shanks, don't think it will be here, hopefully May.
No mgpu pain for me though as my faulty BenQ is no longer with me.
FreeSync is amazing, biggest gaming game changer and not getting the promised mgpu driver, you are stuck in Limbo desperate to get your twin 290's powering through 1440p FreeSync.
For instance, the AMD FreeSync driver guy done an AMA and stated mgpu would be ready for April-imo, it won't be ready.
AMD need to stop giving firm dates for the debut of mgpu FreeSync, perhaps for instead giving a broader window like 'April,May or June' instead.
Fingers crossed for you shanks, for all we know it's ready and they are just not telling us.
Whats up with Free-Sync? genuine question.
Dont work with Crossfire only Single GPU!
Having used it on single GPU and seen how good it makes games, I now want it even more on Crossfire..
GTA5 on one GPU with FC is superb but I would just like that higher frame rate and FC smoothness.
Thats the problem with amd with this "roll out" caper they do with new features in drivers and multi card support. Eyefinity was the same, frame pacing was the same. Bloody annoying.
Yeah it is frustrating, and please i don't want to turn this into NV vs AMD but didn't it take a while for NV to get multi-card G-Sync?
I'm just saying these things might take a while to do.
No clue about gync as it never interested me, and to be honest neither does freesync until the panels and refresh ranges are up to snuff. Just got a new monitor (BenQ BL3201PT) and i'm not planning on changing anytime soon.
You'd think by now though they would have learned from past moaning that they need to get multi card support in drivers sharpish.
My 2600k is still going strong and thats from January 2011. It's a pity cpu improvements for gaming have been tiny, changed my case to a 750d from my fortress ft02 late last year. Just gonna add a larger ssd so i can get rid of my mechanical drives.
What CPU?
What are your temperatures like?
I would be happy if I was just given an answer to my question when I have asked if it would be ready!
Instead I have just been ignored!
If it wasn't going to be ready this month, then it would been nice if someone from AMD released a statement saying "Sorry no driver this month, but expect it -----Date Here" or something!
Just being left Guessing is whats making me upset and disappointed!
I will be running a 290x Vapor crossfire as of tomorrow, i hope these drivers are released to support CF Freesync.
