The AMD Driver Thread

All well and good but that does not help existing applications/games that are currently using OpenGL.

I know AMD's OpenGL is not good but is it really all that bad?

I don't play many OpenGL games but the few that i do like Team Fortress 2 play very well with maximum IQ and AA settings as long as i use AMD's Proprietary Drivers and not the crap that Ubuntu installs.

Were we expecting a new beta driver today or an actual driver release?

I am sure my Xfire 290 Tri-X's would be happier with either! Also hope they have optomised Xfire for Project cars, out next week!

Yes

Go try dying light/metro redux then see how well it runs. then compare that to the equivalent NV card

And lets face it, Team Fortress 2 is hardly a taxing game + the fact that the source based games run well anyway.

Update For AMD Freesync & Crossfire Support

AMD fans have been outspoken about their love for the smooth gameplay of AMD FreeSync™ technology, and have understandably been excited about the prospect of using compatible monitors with the incredible performance of an AMD CrossFire™ configuration.

After vigorous QA testing, however, it’s now clear to us that support for AMD FreeSync™ monitors on a multi-GPU system is not quite ready for release.

As it is our ultimate goal to give AMD customers an ideal experience when using our products, we must announce a delay of the AMD Catalyst™ driver that would offer this support. We will continue to develop and test this solution in accordance with our stringent quality standards, and we will provide another update when it is ready for release

Metro redux runs pretty well on AMD looking at this. No maxwell cards but gtx780ti is included.

Here is dying Light and again the performance is strong.

Nvidia do have a history of being better on Open Gl but AMD are far from being bad.

Better to have it working than screw everything up.

Damn.

I was only waiting for more drivers for elite crossfire profile.

Why can't they just release this as a hotfix or something?
