My 7970 Xfire setup will be getting replaced with a 980ti most likely. Shame really as the cards are more than what is needed for 1200p but half the games don't work properly!

Has anyone just stepped back and looked at all this in another way? Think back over all these games that AMD have had too take more time in releasing a driver.. What do they all have in common?? GameWorks! Its clear that AMD are spending more time trying to work around getting more performance from the driver in these titles..
Some you just need to bloody chill the hell out! I feel the pointing finger at AMD for these drivers isn't only there fault...
And no am not saying AMD is perfect! far from it.. Am getting abit worried over Crossfire FreeSync! I feel this should been sorted along time ago.
My little Rant! Don't agree I don't care! But just step back and look around whats happened in the past months and games that have released.

What about them holding their drivers and Xfire profiles back for nigh on 4 months, as they wouldn't release them until some new monitors got released.

Be a waste of time them saying that wasn't the reason, it was our Freesync driver, when everyone knows it was, as how else could they release a GTA driver, a Freesync fixes driver, and have a driver incoming for the Witcher 3 and Project Cars now, when they are still working on their Freesync drivers, i'll tell you why, as those monitors are out now, thats bloody why!.

No, I don't think it's Nvidias fault that AMD don't release drivers...
Shanks AMD don't need another PR guy like Matt, you need to stop trying
People play different games to you, just because your experience is fine doesn't mean it's like that for everyone.
I didn't say everyone is but am just trying to open up a wider picture here! This isn't only AMD at fault here and people need to understand this.

Amd really haven't a hope with Nvidia giving certain game Dev's. money in order to have the best performance on their hardware and a lot of people seem to reward these business tactics because they want the best peformance immediately and obviously do not care whether Nvidia hobble Amd's hardware to do this. Of course if Nvidia was not allowed to get away with these tactics Amd would be giving the same performance as Nvidia but for far less money. If Nvidia end up putting Amd out of business because so many don't care how Nvidia give them performance and hobble Amd hardware I dread to think how much more extortionate their cards will be each new gen. and maybe even extortionate without as large jump in performance each gen.
So AMD paid EA/dice to use Mantle then?
Can you tell us how much they paid for you to use Mantle?
Johan Andersson said:They wouldn't have to pay us anything to use it, I've been pitching these ideas to any vendor for years
Nope, that was to bundle their game (Battlefield 4) with our 290X graphics cards when we launched Hawaii back in October 2013.

We listened, we created Mantle.
