The AMD Driver Thread

Oh god I am so tired of the endless Amd/NV bickering on here, I don't come on here as often as I used to because of it. Give it a rest please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15.5 BETA now installed but I still cant get crossfire to work on Witcher,

I have to admit after the 8x tessellation setting fix I am getting 35-40 fps which is hardly to be sniffed at. Not seeing card 2 at 0% would be nice though lol :p

Never claimed they were cheap but it's like with all things in life you get what you pay for, it's like Apple their customers enjoy the experience so they're happy to pay over the odds.

As for the jeerers you only have to look at the amount of work NVidia do behind the scenes with GameWorks etc to see they look after their customers, the way AMD users are (rightly or wrongly) seething at them with every game release is surely evidence of that.

I haven't felt the need to upgrade my 780 yet so not sure what your point is regarding futureproofing, I've been buying PC hardware for 15yrs and you've never been able to buy any CPU/GPU that is top dog for more than a year. There was a time when AMD were on top they would release new hardware every 2-3months (AMD Athlon K7), some processors were superseded before they even reached shop shelves.

Well, I feel really sorry for Kepler owners. Shout about AMD drivers all you like. I would rather wait a little onger for some drivers than buy a GPU that Nvidia is downgrading after one year. It is absolutely disgusting. They care more for their shareholders than the customer. They gonna do the same for Maxwell Gpu's?? It really would not surprise me.

That was a brave thing to post mate. But prepare yourself, for nvidia fan boys will be around shortly in full defence mode! Hopefully your post will have brused their egos enough for them to go full retard and get suspended :D

Popcorn.gif :p

Have to say witcher is only game I have had xfire issues with in what must be 2 odd years. My 7950s have ran faultlessly as a pair. Shadow of mordor is fantastic gains wise

AMD drivers have never given me issues tbh. Always had bigger issues with my nv ones, I admit this was in the 7600 days mind you so not a fully justified comment
