The AMD Driver Thread

I just upped my monitor res from 2560x1440 to 3200x1800 which is all thats available and it looks awful. It just all seems to have a slight bluriness to it. Guessing my monitor is just not happy with it

Yeah I wouldn't recommend it for up scaling your native desktop resolution, games only

The way to use VSR is to enable it in CCC and then u just see the higher resolutions in the game settings ;)

15.7 are awesome :)

This was done at 1200/1450: GFX Score 12297

9861. GFX Score 12297. 290. Air cooled. Physics Score 8700. CPU 1090T @ 4.2 Air cooled - Humbug - Link
15.7 @ 1100/1400: GFX Score 12117, that was also with my CPU downclocked to 3.5Ghz. (Cooler still at RMA) http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7686148?r...e=KEY_IN_ANOTHER_ACCOUNT_CURRENT_ACCOUNT_FREE

I think the performance improvement since that original run is about ~20%

The power efficiency is also improved, my usual temperatures with 15.6 are are 68c to 71c on the core and about 75c on the VRM's

Its now 63c to 66c on the core and 65c on the VRM's, awesome :)

Well done AMD.

I have V-sync on. so maybe screen tear isnt the right word. Its like parts of the background are hitching but some of it is fine.

That doesn't sound good. I will give it a look and fingers crossed I have no probs on either system.

I am looking about and seems that people are getting boosts but none for me. I have run with and without the capture card, just to make sure there was no conflict and I did a complete clean install after using DDU to clean out the old drivers. Am I doing something wrong guys?

Only tried GTA 5 and crysis 3 so far but they are definitely smoother.

Not 100% sure about my temps, might be ever so slightly better.....

But yes, well done AMD :)

Thoroughly looking forward to windows 10 for even more smoothness!

Just had a quick blast on The Witcher 3 and it's running beautifully for me now. No tearing or flickering.

Going to have a play with Hardline, Evolve, PCars, GRID, The Crew and FC4 over the course of tonight and probably tomorrow. Don't see how I can get any more performance as they all run brilliantly with the 15.5's/15.6's. FC4 still has its niggling issues but more than playable.

Gave up trying to get GTA V to work.

thanks Matt...

Anyone else that play Ark Survival here? I'm now getting flickering textures on the trees and vegetation, not using crossfire as the game does not support it. Was like it on previous set.

Did you manage fix this? I've had it all day, no issues on previous drivers.
