The AMD Driver Thread

good to know im not alone. it says 7900 series so is the 7990 excluded and they didnt say? Is it a crossfire issue? Is it a 1440 issue? Anyone else?

Is your monitor a 1440p if so then 3200 x 1800 is the max for a 1440p.
Are you enabling vsr then upping the resolution in windows resolution option?
It looks like Fury and tonga are only capable of 4k vsr.

anyone having problems with FRTC with a 7950, can anyone test if it works (need to remove all forms of v-sync. Isn't working for me.

I use a 7950 and am playing with a 15.15 mod driver,
Frtc can be disable or enabled but it's not functional in this driver i'm using.
I'm about to play with 15.7 so will let you know.

edit
Just installed 15.7 and frtc works fine, you select the slider to chose refresh rate. Or you disable it all together in CCC-gaming-3dApplications-FRTC ''toggle button''
.

I'm actually using 15.7 sorry, It's odd, it just doesn't work. I may try and reinstall.

When you use it btw is there any tearing in game or does this eliminate it like vsync?

In game v-sync disabled there is still very slight tearing on lower 30% of screen for me, I tried 55, 60,65. But I imagine this is just a frame rate controller for power efficiency, not freesync or am I wrong?.

If you are trying to change the settings with the game already playing, the changes won't take affect until after reloading of the game.

After I've used vsr (2560x1440) for awhile, I have returned back to default 1920x1080 resolution. I just can't use it. It's kinda fine in games where you can adjust hud, but most games it's not possible, and icons are just too small. And the quality isn't really that much better to make the sacrfice.

I should get new display instead.

I was just unsure if it worked akin to vsync if set to your monitor refresh rate.

I've done restarts and such after the changes I'm still getting FR in the hundreds after setting it at 60fps.

I did hear something about people having to reboot multiple times to get some things working. not sure if will help with this but i could try that also I guess.

Arcsoft Total Media Theatre is no longer supported by the developer.

If AMD's Windows 10 driver can't be fixed on AMD's side to work with Arcsoft, then that means on Windows 10 it is IMPOSSIBLE to correctly display a Blu-ray at 21:9 on a 21:9 screen using an AMD GPU using the proper software etc.
PowerDVD is a no go (And on this Windows 10 install just stutters, but I imagine that's because PowerDVD is just trash) the free Leawo is close but no cigar.

The world's well and truly ruined Blu-ray uptake by being silly.
