The only game profile showing up as a tile for me beside "Global Settings" is 3DMark.

Uninstalled Crimson 15.12s via the driver's uninstaller in Programs and features (on night on Crimson 16.1 release), rebooted, installed 16.1s with Administrator rights.
I have a dedicated games installation drive (D) and it picks everything inside of the Crimson cp. Nothing to add manually and around 150 - 200 games i'm guessing.

That could be it, all my Steam libraries are on other HDDs/SSDs besides my O/S Samsung 951.

Thats not it, I have my Steam, Origin & U-play games installed across 4 different drives and I haven't had to manual add any.
I wish I had as I currently get awful lag trying to move through the Crimson game menu due to the amount of games.

It takes about a minute and a half to load the games in and then it continues to do it every time I move to a particular game and back. It's a real pain to use but I've never manually loaded any games into it they were all there (1200+) the first time I installed Crimson.

Does anyone know if this is a driver/cable/card issue - I keep getting a grey bar flicker on the screen for a split second. I don't think it's solid grey, maybe grey with tiny coloured squares, it's difficult to tell! it's usually about 10% of the screen height and is always around the middle to top third of the screen.

It happens randomly, sometimes it can happen once or twice in a couple of hours, sometimes it can do it every few minutes or so, there doesn't appear to be any specific pattern. I also get a black screen for a second or two every now and then. I've only noticed it in games, but it happens in all games i've played recently.

I'm using the latest beta drivers and hot fix, but it's happened for the past couple of driver updates. I used DDU and reinstalled the Crimson drivers but it's still the same.

It turns out it was the drivers. I've rolled back to 15.7.1 and everything's ok again now. It became unbearable in CS:GO last night, the flickering was every couple of seconds.

On a side note, does anyone know where's best to get previous drivers from? I'm after the one just before Crimson but I couldn't find it anywhere.

techpowerup.com has. Just google search and they are there :)

Does anyone know when the core clock issues started?

I have tried 15.11.1, 15.7, 15.12 and 16.1 and all have the issue with the core clock going up and down.

was thinking of trying 15.6 as it seems to be a stable version for most people here

I have a 390

Not everyone is affected by the core clock issue. I think a lot of people think they suffer from it, when in fact it's just the GPU downclocking when not rendering demanding scenes, to save power.

My 390X is fine on the latest Crimson 16.1's, for example.

Core clocking will always be up and down depending on the situation in a games frame rate. If your GPU is already outputting at its cap say 60fps then it might not need your full clock speed to achieve this frame rate.

the down clock causes me a number of issues in games a long with low FPS, when I lock the core to 1010mhz my games run fine and I get much higher fps and smoother game play

it effects all my games, cant see why in a firefights which are the most hectic part of a game the card would decide to down clock to 500mhz which then causes my fps to drop shed loads and stutters

Individual game profiles regarding crossfire are not saving and not applying again. For example, I know games that if AFR mode is selected for their profile, when in game it should be really bright or really flickery. This is now not happening for those games when I go to test with AFR running on those games from the profiles, 2nd card not running as I can see a 300Mhz core clock on 2nd card. Crossfire is 100% screwed in this version, I still think it's down to the option that's missing in the crossfire section "Enable CrossfireX for applications that have no associated application profile"

Just updated to Radeon Crimson 15.12 and AVG popped up with "General behavioral detection - c:\\Programdata\Launchurl.bat"" After a quick google noticed someone who also installed AMD drivers had this pop up, False positive perhaps?

Yes I have exactly the same issue. Forcing crossfire for Fallout 4 with AFR or a profile doesn't work in the 16.1 hotfix.

Same for me, games are totally unplayable on the Crimsons.

My GPU was getting tremendously hot when watch streams on twitch.tv, at one time it reached 58C. Clearly not normal as it only reaches 75C when under full load and overclocked to 1150. Set Crimson to only overclock when specific games are active.

Reinstalling from fresh using DDU seemed to fix it, the updater corrupted the installation somehow.
