There seems to be a lot of people having issues with the Polaris cards and the drivers, I'm still having zero issues with my Fury, Touch wood that continues. n

In truth it's because the drivers have been so good since Crimson started that I'm waiting for Vega and not jumping ship to a 1080. Yes I may be getting lower fps than I would with the 1080 but I'm not struggling to run anything. I haven't got Deus X yet though.
 
Yup no issues with drivers on a single 290 here either, haven't had any for a long long time now *touch wood*


Still wanting 21.9 VSR support though!
 
Driver for BF1 yet? Running like crap on my 480 atm, not even getting 50fps on Medium settings at 1080p.

Bloody hell guys give AMD least a chance here. They have been on the ball for months with driver releases.
See people asking for deus ex driver why? Match for match amd is beating nvidia in that game.

Beta version won't get crossfire you can mark my words on that. Reason amd has hit themselves in the foot with that one before supporting an early build only for it being changed come release and crossfire stopped working.

Note: not all games need a driver, and specially with a game so close to AMD like deus ex that game will have had driver support months ago.

I'm currently downloading BF1 beta looking forward to it!! drivers are at a good stage currently, anything new that comes out I think is a bonus!!!

I think a Omega Crimson version would be pretty mega!!

I got my code this morning. How long is the beta running for? I am in the middle of buildng the machine in my spec and the power supply I had is duff and going to EVGA for RMA.

Would so like to have a go at BF1 Beta too :(

actually crossfire does scale very well its just the same old issue of the flickering. Wish i still had the screen shot from AMD's driver page where it listed about 8 games with the known issue of the flicker.

I am not annoyed just because of this, this is a build up of so many issues with xfire.

they might have been on the ball regarding how many and the frequency at which AMD been releasing them shanks mate, but they haven't exactly crowned themselves in glory with each driver having problems.

Talking of which, you still getting the flicker on desktop with Freesync? mine is still happening, just hoping AMD don't avoid this issue as it was in the release notes of the latest driver as being fixed :mad:

Yeah still happening here but its very random now, I can go full day without a single flicker then next day it will happen.

It wasn't Mankind mate it was the older one.
 
DX 12 has significantly higher fps for me in bf 1 but is awfully stuttery where as dx 11 is buttery smooth, think either dice to sort it out or amd need a driver for it.

Oh right my bad, well still a good game! Shankly I tried it once

I have the same videocard setup as you raven I just hope I dont encounter the flickering!! I generally expect it will be ok! but I'll have to see


I also have this freensync flicker issue it usually grows worse the more different full screen apps I launch and then exit over time ... sometimes it can be 1 game other times it can be 3 or more since the computer has been switched on.. varies.. I'm sure it will be fixed TurboTony78
