I remember once that happened I needed to reinstall crapburner
 
nexus, did you not have a profile set? if you reset the profile, save, then redo the profile it should work again as normal. It's done that for me in the past on another driver.

On another note, I'm now off to youtube to see how do I overclock using wattman now I've chinned off MSI AB. Oh MSI AB overlay I'm going to miss you my darling.

I always set it manually after starting the PC up, well the only thing I ever needed to change on start up was the core clock voltage, everything else stayed as it was.

Would be nice if AMD did have a similar OSD for FPS + frame latency and allowed us to change overclock settings so that we could get rid of 3rd party tools like MSI AB + rivatuner...

You can OC with wattman and still use after burner for osd

Where abouts can you overclock with wattman?

I can't see any options to change voltage etc. All I see under global wattman is a mini graph, can't even seem to change fan speed etc. :/

Not had a chance to learn anything yet will have a play around over the weekend with it.

Loving the fact we can now overclock based on application also very nice.

I had that too. Uninstalled Afterburner 4.2 and installed AB 4.3, and all now back to exactly as expected. :)

Chalk up another one here for not noticing the scroll bar! :D I even closed it and re-opened twice. Finally noticed the bar and went full screen, made a lot more sense that way.
 
Do you guys DDU every time for these driver updates or just install the new ones?

I usually DDU, but if it's mostly unnecessary...

... im so bummed out.. This driver is also broken on my pc :( that is freesync is broken over hdmi(which is the only port my monitor has for freesync). Freesync works in the windmill demo but not in games. Still only the 16.9.2 that has working freesync over hdmi for me :(.

I cannot figure out what is going wrong. Its like switching on freesync does nothing. I get tearing if vsync is off or just high input lag and stutter if vsync is on but under max refresh rate like you normally would. My monitor also reports a static 75hz all the time no matter the ingame fps where as on the 16.9.2 driver i can see it change as the fps changes. I was looking forward to freesync in borderless window mode. What a bummer.
 
Seems ok so far. I've come across 3 issues though:

-Profiles show as "Enabled" despite having changed no settings - reset button has no effect.

-After my initial install my VRAM clockspeed was stuck at 150MHz, uninstalling and re-installing seems to have fixed this.

-Radeon ReLive doesn't want to record game audio - All my videos so far are silent.

Only thing I can think off what type of Hdmi cable you using? Tried changing the cable?
What does Crimson say under Freesync? And what range is the freesync?
Also instead of using vsync, try using FRTC at say 70fps
