The AMD Driver Thread

You after teach me Haaa

Haha. I've set it up dynamic, at state 7 I have it at the clock I want, then just have the other states dropping 25mhz each. Left voltage auto and the memory just moved it to where I had it previously.

Just looking back at the graphs when I leave a game they seem very consistent and performance with freesync feels nicer.

Have you checked the audio settings tab closely and also the system audio settings? After I installed this new driver, it changed my audio output to monitor speakers which I don't have lol.

I've experienced that one before too! :D

However, this is different.

These are my audio settings:

I can hear the audio fine, it is just never recorded.

Nice its really good we can change these based on application profile also. Less demanding games you could drop core etc or under voltage.

Can anyone see colour settings? I liked to turn saturation up in some games to really make colours vivid. Cant open the old catalyst control centre anymore

Radeon Settings > Display > Display Color. Cycle through until you find it.

Right folks, my work here is done. Time for me to Radeon and Chill.

Excellent joke and no one even batted an eye lid, i guess it's all about Crimson ReLive.

Yea I had some issues with the install, but I did on the previous drivers as well :/

Changing "WorkAroundInstall" to true in installmanager.cfg got it working in the past, but not on these. Failed to install driver (but did everything else) and then wouldn't even see the card when trying again. I had to install the driver part manually through device manager. Seems fine after that though.

Ok forget everything I said. I was testing it with the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided benchmark, which has no audio anyway! I somehow failed to realise that as I was recording it.

Played some of the game and it works fine (same audio settings as in the picture). So that just leaves the profiles issue. D'oh!

Matt,

World of Tanks is still the ONLY game that cannot use any AMD card overclocked. I do not have such issues with NV cards though.

However, the new drivers did make a huge different in quality, when freesync is used. No more little flickering on 2d overlays.

Hmm have an odd issue, installed the new driver, however everytime i get to the install relive section, it says the driver isnt fully installed, forces me to restart or close the window, but the option to install relive does not crop up again. uninstalled via ddu and still does the same thing. any ideas ?

That's Windows built in adjustment and isn't good enough and doesn't even do the same thing.

Why would AMD remove features! that's just crazy.

Its the little things that make a massive difference to people purchasing intentions and with new cards about to release that one single missing features flips my next purchase from AMD to nvidia.

Back to the previous drivers I go :(

EDIT*

I'm not the only person missing this feature

Yup, I mentioned ages ago about them removing the gamma sliders, utterly retarded move.

Don't see the fuss about brightness and contrast though, surely your monitor has these controls already and will be far better than AMD's settings...

I adjust both lots of contrast and brightness on monitor and ati, for fine tuning.
