The AMD Driver Thread

With the 17.9.3.'s I have the same issue as 17.9.2., unable to use my two Vega's.
Now with an error "thread stuck in device driver" Drivers won't install completly on a fresh updated Win10 64 copy with a Dell on MST..

Win 7 is still fine

I sometimes get blank recordings using AMD hardware HEVC using OBS (using 17.4.4 driver), so it might not be specific to ReLive. Most of my recordings work fine though.
 
Having a problem in dishonored, death of the outsider where all 3 screens are going black "no signal detected" randomly after some minutes of playing - anywhere from a few to 20-30mins. As soon as this happens the gpu fan goes silent. But there's still audio. Pressing reset won't fix it, I'm not sure if windows is loading but the screens are still black. Need to power off and on again to get anything shown on the monitors. Tried setting scaling mode to full panel but it hasn't helped. Tried removing all AA to lower the stress on the gpu but that didn't help either. @AMDMatt any ideas?

I've a powercolor rx480 with 1x dvi-d and 2xdp monitors. One of the dp monitors is the main one.
 
My PC kept shutting down on its own after turning it on this morning.. didnt have a clue what was going on, tried loads of different things and when i remembered what i had changed or done since it was fine last night, i thought.. oh i used ReLive last night to test my mic with Noise Gate etc..

so i have uninstalled 17.9.1 and reinstalled 17.9.3 without ReLive..

No problems as of yet, but i might have just jinxed myself writing this.

Lets hope all is fine now.

Just to be clear, 17.9.1 was running fine since i installed it on release so i know it isnt that driver.
 
The .3 means the third iteration released this month? I'm testing to see if it fixes my text corruption in google searchbar which sometimes causes crashes of browser or reboot.
 
Enhanced Sync smoother recording footage? With enhanced sync enabled games that would seem a little choppy on playback look super smooth. @TonyTurbo78 can you try Forza 3 because I know me and you both seen play back seemed choppy, but with enhanced sync enabled recording is excellent. For Windows 10 store you need to force Enhanced sync at global level.
Am interested in hearing your feedback on this.

So I have started testing other games and 100% enhanced Sync helps
 
Has anyone got dual screen with Displayport and HDMI working on Vega 64? It was working 2 releases ago, now I get flickering black screen on both displays when enabling clone display or duplicate screen.

They appear to just be the MS certified versions of the same package, probably no difference other than that.
