The AMD Driver Thread

I haven't updated my RX480 (16.11.5) drivers for a while but I'm going to reinstall Windows 7 this weekend and was wondering which driver version is the most stable or should I stick to 16.11.5 as it hasn't given me any problems on Overwatch, CSGO and Rocket League.

And relive is getting uninstalled again.....

Causes nothing but FPS drops for me especially in bf 1 even when not recording, also, my game kept alt tabbing out, as soon as relive disabled, no issues.......

Strange mate I use Relive all the game and record games issues free. I do record to another drive from away from my games and OS!

I also do too but that is the problem, even when not recording, I have these issues, not in every game, but most games......

Ever since "relive" landed, these drivers have been dodgy as anything on my system (290), can't say I'm surprised though, as given that vega and AMD's small driver team, I imagine getting the best performance from vega has been where vast majority of attention/effort/time/resources has gone.

Has you know mate I came from the same R9 290 has you and from that to the VEGA GPU Relive has worked the same no difference least on my system. My Youtube channel will back that one up.

OK, got to admit I not been updating my drivers for a while. When I did some time long ago when I was playing Fallout 4 it gave me strange artifacts so I reverted back to what was working and since then not updated them. :o

I am on AMD Catalyst Version 15.7.1 (all still working fine so not really a problem per see) but been thinking of upgrading them. Now, I am using a Fury X AOI and was wondering if the latest version is ok, or since the card is a tad old should I use another version ??

Thank you.

Well all I know is that once relive is of my system, everything performs and works as it should :/

Not going to bother with relive again until my next AMD GPU (that's if I even stick with them), just no point when results are random and I've given it plenty of chances now.

Just Built my New System and first boot up into Windows 10 and everything was fine then after Installing the latest Drivers it wont let me Select my Ultrawide Res of 2560x1080 and says HDCP is Disabled im using a HD 7850 2GB with a HDMI plugged into a DVI-D Adapter?
