Maybe I was just "unlucky" when I last tried but I can remember hours of frustration trying to get things to work and weeks/months waiting for game support or Crossfire profile to be released.
I just don't have the time to invest any more so it just needs to work "out of the box" otherwise it just becomes frustrating very quickly.
Anyway we're getting a little OT, I would like:
1. Black Snow
2. Horizontal flickering and image tearing in 2D (3 screens, R9 290x), 15.7 and up
to be fixed, if I had to choose I'd like number 2. to be fixed as it's starting to drive me la la!
Well said.
The new drivers the issue is worst and more prominent than with 15.11.1 beta
So back to 15.6 for me. Which is annoying as hell, having a damn 295X2 with Freesync monitor, and I cannot make Freesync to work with CF. So I am using a single 290X all the time.
(even with CF disabled the flickering and black vertical lines is there on all DX9, DX10 & DX11 games).
Filled a bug report, as I did on all versions I tried since 15.7 however I doubt going to see any difference.
FYI Crysis 3 & Armored Warfare (both AW & Crysis 3 profiles tried), World of Tanks look awful with the new drivers in CF mode. Vertical flickering lines all over the place like the screen is configured at 30hz.
Elder Scrolls online looks tad better but the flickering is there as are the vertical black lines flickering.
I know Nvidia has some driver issues, however NEVER EVER had such picture quality issues with NV, nor with ATI.
And especially for 6 months in row, where they haven't manage to fix the driver issue
Is dissapointing. One side I want to support AMD, buying a damn 295X2 and a Freesync monitor in the process, and on the other they cannot fix the issue that THEY created after the 15.6 drivers.
