Known Issues

  • AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition may not automatically create a per-game profile for Blades of Fire and Dragonkin: The Banished. Users are recommended to enable AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 4 from the global graphics settings as a temporary workaround.

What’s Next?

  • We are continuously refining FSR, using feedback from gamers across a vast library of games to drive innovation. Tell us how FSR 4 perform on your system through the Bug Report Tool or the AMD Community forums—your feedback directly shapes the next update.

Package Contents

  • AMD FSR Technical Preview Driver Version 25.10.13.02 for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 (Windows Driver Store Version 32.0.21013.2006).

I guess games like cyberpunk and bmw that are heavily Nvidia sponsored will not get built in fsr4.

Wasn't there a tweet involving both companies recently that AMD would be working with them closer? I might be remembering it wrong - maybe with FSR Redstone introducing the AMD equivalent of Ray Reconstruction we could see an update?

I don't know why they want to add this to cyberpunk, who still plays this old game now. People have moved on.

It really isn't, its an old single player game.

Its really is a waste of resources where they can focus on working with devs with new current games and games coming out in the future, not a rubbish old game.
Is CP2077 still used as a benchmark by reviewers? If so I'd say it is still needed as well.

It's an old game that AMD is wasting resources on. Benchmarks are useful for people who want to buy games and these usually mean new games which cyberpunk isn't accountable for because it's a trash made game and took 5 years to be fixed and still being fixed by the devs to this date.

You shouldn't use a broken old game as a benchmark.

Most reviewers don't even play games as well sadly too know the history of cyberpunk.

what if cyberpunk was one of the games you play most?
still use a different game as the decider for which card to buy?
lol if its the game you play a lot then surely it is the one you should be looking at bench marks for no?

edit just realised you meant for developers to spend resources working on ok lol yeah that makes more sense

You make a silly statement, then you compound it by making two more silly statements.

First. Getting FSR4 into as many games as possible should be AMD's goal. It's not just about getting FSR4 into the game, it also means getting their name out there and working with more developers. Work on Cyberpunk 2077 now, get into their next game earlier. Putting it into new games only would be a terrible strategy for AMD, especially when older games are still extremely popular.

Second, like or hate, doesn't matter. Cyberpunk is still one of the most talked about games out there. It's also has overwhelmingly positive reviews by players. And it's still one of the hardest to run games. Getting FSR4 into that game and showing how good it can be, would be fantastic for AMD.

Third: It's not an OLD game. It had a DLC in 2023 and another DLC coming in the next month or so. So, again, it wouldn't be a waste for people returning to the game or playing it for the first time.

Fourth: More people have played Cyberpunk 2077 in the last 24 hours than any game that supports FS4 outside of Call Of Duty and Marvel's Rivals. And that's just the Steam player base. It's a popular game that people are still playing in large numbers. So it should be a priority.

Fifth: Why do you say "single player" like it's a bad thing? Nobody playing competitive multiplayer games is going to be using any kind of upscaling. Upscaling benefits single player games the most.

LOL wasting resources!! Man you keep coming out with gems. Have you looked at the list of FSR4 supported games? LOL AMD sure aren't wasting resources putting FSR4 into games like Mechwarrior 5: Clans, Kristala, INflux Redux, and other equally crappy games with tiny player bases. But you would consider it a waste of resources putting into Cyberpunk 2077, still one of the most played games out there with new DLC on the way.

Lastly, Cyberpunk isn't an old game. Not that it matters anyway. Old games are still been played in huge numbers of people. Skyrim, Red Dead redemption, Fallout 4, Borderlands 2, Witcher 3 etc. etc. Gamers are modding these games, playing them in VR and more. With some mods these games are very difficult to run even with the latest GPUs. Like the Mad Dog Overhaul makes Skyrim look amazing but is very difficult to run. The thing is Nvidia's DLSS works in these older games. But AMD's FSR4 doesn't. In some of these mods, they even recommend getting a Nvidia card for this very reason.

Getting FSR4 out there into as many games as possible should be key for AMD. And the more popular a game is the more they should prioritise it. Serious question. Do you honestly think it was better for AMD to put FSR 4 into games like the ones I listed above? Or do you think they would have been better off working on getting it into Cyberpunk2077. (I know the right answer, but will be interesting to read your reply)

Cyberpunk released 10 December 2020, thats nearly half a decade ago.

Singleplayer games have finite lifespan to whom actually goes out to buy it and buys hardware for it.

Who in the right mind 5 years later buys a new GPU to play a 5 year old game, like literally 5 years ago.

Cyberpunk for ages had negative and mixed reviews, what they fixed 5 years later isn't a testament lol.

AMD needs to work with developers right now for current games and upcoming games.

The last game AMD worked with a developer was Starfield and it showed with them having much better performance.

People buy Nvidia because credit to them, they actually work with developers for new and upcoming games to PC and that mind set is a hardware seller.

Then why is it THE goto benchmark for Nvidia fans users to say how wonderful RT is and how great it looks ingame in CP2077? Literally every Nvidia thread or comment about RT goes on about CP2077 as if its the greatest thing since sliced bread. Suddenly when its AMD its old hat and irrelevent? What a strange place this is.

My thoughts still remain the same.

It is still irrelevant even with Nvidia cards.

Its an old game that honestly shouldn't of been used as a benchmark because the game was broken for ages.

I would even say its ray tracing is inefficient compared to modern games which actually were developed from scratch with RT.

Cyberpunk is a badly made game and still is.
