@AMD_Vik
After updating to the latest drivers i've had a blackscreen hang in Chrome and also right after exiting the game Star Citizen, but think that may have been because i clicked to open the discord app in the task manager, it seemed to happen immediately then, Discord is just the Chrome Browser in a UI wrapper.
The only error i could find in the event viewer was:
The AMD User Experience Program Data Uploader service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
Googles AI, for all that's worth gave me this in searching that error.
This error typically occurs when AMD Radeon Software files are corrupted, missing after a driver update, or when a previous installation was not properly uninstalled. To fix it, clean up the corrupted files using the AMD Cleanup Utility, run system file checkers (SFC/DISM), or reinstall the latest AMD Adrenalin software package
I did that.... not had a problem since but i have only been using the PC a few hours since.
Chrome was also updated today, along with Discord
26.5.1
RX 7800XT (Sapphire Pulse)
Ryzen 5800X
Gigabyte Aorus Elite V2 AX B550
32GB DDR4 @ 3200MT/s (hey i'm wealthy these days, worth literally nearly as much its weight in gold)
Samsung 990 Pro With Heatsink.
Edit: The Chrome Browser blackscreen hang happened while browsing X, formerly Twitter.
Edit2: i haven't actually uninstalled my old driver to update it in a while, quite some driver updates, i have just let the auto update utility in the driver handle that, so there had been a few driver updates installed over the top of older ones.
