OK after some problems, 28 extra points in Firestrike Extreme. :)

These seem passable although I have never had the black screen, let's hear from those who have...
 
Did anyone else have issues installign the 9.5 betas?
When I tried it the display driver failed to install and caused my copy of Windows to think it wasn't genuine!
I then tried re-installing the 9.4 betas and got the same thing!
Not sure what's happening as I had the 9.4 betas on there before.

This is on my machines with the 7950s in. Using one of LtMatt's BIOSs shouldn't cause problems with driver installing should it?
 
New drivers are better for my crossfire on BF4, very good fps and both cards usage pretty much constantly in the 90's, Cod Ghosts however is the same old stuttery mess on 2 cards, fine with one, its a poorly optimized game for multi card setups, just doing a quick google finds lots of annoyed buyers.
Edit, no problems installing.
 
I installed the new beta 9.5 tonight, played 2 hours on the new bf4 dlc - no issues here and getting very good framerates - although nothing really to compare it to as I hadnt played the new maps using any other driver. I'm running a 290x with stock clocks.

Performance tab is back in ccc now too :)
 
Really starting to get annoyed with these blackscreen crashes now:mad:

Any overclock on the memory seems to result in me getting a blackscreen after a few minutes of BF4.

Going to try a crysis 3 and try to narrow down the issue to BF4.

Using the 9.5 Betas.

In hindsight i think the 7990 was the right choice hey mate.

Happy to help pal, it's a great server ;) just need to get the DLC now to get a game with you.

At the moment i think your right bud, the 290X is a fantastic card, but these issues are really starting to annoy me.

Elpida ram no doubt. Probably can't cope with a 512bit bus or something. I expect once Hynix/Samsung are not in short supply Elpida 290's will be rare.

Yep it's Elpida, but the strange thing is, i could run it at 1625 when i first got the card, but it seems every time i new driver comes out, it forces it down again, i'm at 1150/1400 now.

Can no longer bench @1625 and BF4 crashes to a blackscreen @1400 :(
