That's a stinker of a bug. May have to use custom 2d clocks in afterburner.

Yea i hope u find a way around this one..

So what exactly is this fix?

BattleField 4: V-sync issues observed on CrossFire configurations (with Mantle enabled) have been resolved

Vsync isnt working in borderless window mode and was hoping they could sort this out. I have to use 'gametime.maxvariablefps 60' to keep my temps down like vsync does.

Ok well with ULPS enabled the cards are clocking down as they should as far as i can see. Just had a quick sample of Mantle and all seemed well. Clocks returned to idle states afterwards. GPU's stock.

ULPS disabled gpu's definitely clocked down. So not sure what that bug refers to. Can't see a problem there.

Audio stutter when using vsync is fixed, but theres still a performance issue there. Look at the performance overlay. Microstutter. Lucky for me i don't use vsync in BF4. I've yet to test other games, but i suspect this issue affects every game as it has done in previous drivers from 13.11 beta 9.2 onwards. Crossfire issue only!! Something to do with XDMA and pci-e lanes is my bet.

Vsync appears to be broken in BF4 only upon further testing. Just tried Unigine Valley and its working correctly in that. Nice.

Hmm interesting. I wonder if its a problem with this motherboard then? Will know once my new one arrives. It happened in the test range for me as well. I'm using Dual DVI connection shanks, you?

I get flickering lines on my 290, random black screen that then BSOD's on mostly youtube in chrome. Shame as I had it working nicely on the 13's. Gaming is fine though, just desktop and video playback I've noticed it. I thought it was a loose cable at first

What sort of flickering lines?

Overclocking? If so put back to stock or increase voltage. Card sounds to me like its not being fed enough voltage. I can produce similar effects on desktop by lowering core voltage too much.

Kinda like static horizontal lines about 2-10 pixels high (1-2mm) that appear and go very quickly every 15-30 seconds randomly. Sometimes they go away, but seems like they've come on since the drivers?

Stock speeds out of the box.

Do it.

In other news motherboard is here...

Mmmm Matt think you could be right mate. While I didn't have the spiking like you it sure wasn't good. Game felt Laggy? Now this could be I used to 120hz or forcing 60hz on a 120hz panel isn't a smart thing to do.

Enjoy the new board mate :D

My Valley benchmark score has dropped off big time, from 2000 to 1200!! Plus I even noticed it struggled to get over 25fps

LtMatt does +50% power limit work ?? If not ill wait till weekend install them do speed run thief on mantle with true audio and go back to only proper driver 13.12...
