Well technically speaking i gave someone a free game, it got thrown back in my face and the rest they say is history. You come back wiser though, so its not all bad.

Has anyone noticed an improvement to the Beta 10.3 drivers over the 10.1 or even 13.12??
I'm having issues with black screens when maximising my Chrome browser and wondering if this would help.

Sorry, should have been 13.12 which I'm currently using and 14.1 / 14.3 on the Beta side

Not noticed any problems personally using Chrome and any drivers. However you could try disabling hardware acceleration in chrome.
Or you could install flash for other browsers, then type chrome://plugins/ into the url bar and disable the chrome flash player and use the flash for other browsers instead. Pepperflash is the chrome flash player.

I remember doing that a while ago, but forgot I'd upgraded to Win 8.1. I've disable both, let see how it goes.

If you use Mantle yes, otherwise no. Wait for the next WHQL driver, should be within a week or so.

Not really!! I have no love for BF4 at the moment, playing Neverwinter which doesn't cause me to rage!!!

I just thought I would post in this thread as I have an odd thing.
I have tried on numerous occasions to update the drivers on my pc but for some reason it always falls back to the old on startup.
It first started back when BF3 was released and I needed to update the drivers to be able to run the game.
Now using the catalyst software never works fully.
I have followed many guides that include deleting certain old files etc but I can never get the new ones to stick.
Does any one have an absolute foolproof guide. It gets a bit annoying having to run the driver set up each time I want to play newer games.
For notes my spec is i5 2500k
Hd 6870 1gb card
Win 7,
I have my windows files on an ssd, then have another ssd and hard drive for storage.
