Sounds like someone is using unofficial overclocking mode (disable it) and or custom 2d profiles.

No problems with 14.4 here, lower temps and fan speed.

Though, when i jumped into BF4 i notices a bit of stuttering then realised it was running on mantle where previously I had always used DX. Any one else had their API change with the drivers?

I had a 7870, the answer is yes if you don't run too higher settings, (2GB vRam limit) the settings i used are around here somewhere, let me try to dig them up for you.

Can't find it, just copy these settings, they are the ones i used, its Texture Quality, AA and HBAO which fills up the vRam, if you keep those settings down it will work perfectly.
