**THE AMD DRIVERS THREAD**

It's been in the works a while now martini, Roy was asked in the spring for some kind of downscaling feature long before DSR was announced and he said he would get it implemented, Cat devs also hinted about it and other new features.

So, AMD's only putting downsampling into their drivers since Nvidia's making noise about it.
Par for the course.

Improvement is improvement, can't wait. Hopefully it lets me run 3440x1440 or it's a bust for me.
God I wish they would just call the same features by the same, sensible name though. I know it's par-for-the course marketing ******** but it's pretty annoying since they are essentially identical.

I'm not sure that's exactly a positive.

AMD takes an age to do something Nvidia made look menial :p?

Come on now, let's not go down that road :) It serves no purpose other than to fuel the usual crap in here.

At the end of the day this is a feature that we've been requesting for a quite a while now.
Nvidia got there first and good for them and their users.

Surprised your all going nuts over the dsr thing when it appears you now have full mantle capture support :)

Amd are starting to build a nice package. Giggedy.

Exactly, Nvidia are running features that AMD had out for years before them, swings and roundabouts tbh and the end user benefits regardless the vendor.
