Yeah, I'd be pretty pee'd off if it didn't support multi GPU.
Kind of defeats the purpose to make it more demanding when you can't use all the beef at your disposal.

It's not in every game but it happens in some games that NEED the performance of both cards to push the frame rates.
Oh, of course :) It obviously also depends on whether the game supports multi card in the first place.

Oh yeah, on the subject of multi gpu, it turns out that PCARS does work with xfire after all if you force the profile. It's not perfect and the game still needs a bit of optimisation, but it's there. #random

It's in the pulled TR Omega article:

Catalyst Omega also introduces support for a number of new pieces of hardware, including FreeSync monitors, the Alienware Graphics Amplifier, and 5K displays like the Dell UP2715k through two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs. For those Eyefinity fans out there, Catalyst Omega now supports 24 monitor arrays on systems with four GPUs.
But it doesn't end there. AMD also focused on improving the driver experience by fixing a massive amount of bugs, including the top ten most reported problems such as errors during the install process, game and system crashes and black screens, and even pesky HDMI audio issues.

Not to worry, I got all the juicy details.:D

As long as there is no added Ngreedia tax, the Freesync wait will be justified for those that aren't in a rush for the tech.

Yer, those who had the money and wanted the tech paid the premium. That is the norm with new tech and call it greed but it didn't bother me in the slightest (as I don't suspect it bothered many others who paid for them). I expect there will be a premium on the first Freesync monitors also.

AMD are really catching up with nVidia in these new techs and great to see. AMD now (or will have when the latest Omega drivers are released) have DSR (VSR) and AMD now have Adaptive Sync.

Great stuff :D

No surprises with your tone, no mention where Nvidia techs trail AMD's though(no surprise for the forum there), plenty they could use to improve the Nvidia experience, using both, you can identify them more easily.

The selection of panels today seems like we are being drip fed. WHY can't I just have a 4K 144hz sync IPS/VA. :(

That's my main problem with the gsync panels available so far, compromises.
