I just hope those awesome drivers will fix my Black screen issue.

I'm pretty sure the 285's on its own.

Let me put it another way.

Only the following cards support VSR

R9 295X2, R9 290X, R9 290 and R9 285.

And of them only the 285 supports 4K VSR. Only Tonga cards and newer support 4K VSR. Older GCN versions, Hawaii, don't.

I only get 3200x1800 as an option on my 259X2 with 2560x1440.

First driver, so they might well improve on it.

But it also appears to be the potential dawn of a more ominous age for AMD enthusiasts, because the vast majority of Catalyst Omega’s new features aren’t available for one-generation-old Radeon 7000-series graphics cards, nor the current-gen R9 280 and R9 280X (which are basically rebrands of the older Radeon 7950 and 7970). When asked whether some of the features might hit 7000-series cards in the future, Hallock said “This driver is focused on R9 and R7.”

"Focused on R9 and R7"... So where is VSR for my R9 280X? Saying one thing then doing another seems to have become a regular occurrence for AMD.

If they are going to remove the ability to use Win+P to switch between Eyefinity and Extended Desktop they could at least have fixed their buggy ass CCC Presets that keep loading my Extended profile with the screens in the wrong order...

Under the Video - Quality tab I have got dynamic contrast, upscaled artifact reduction and fluid motion settings which I don't think were there before?

Hmm that's strange, maybe it will be implemented in the future for 280x?
I think these drivers are still work in progress.

Hopefully these drivers will work for me and my 290

I've been stuck on 14.4s for far too long now But if these give me the black screen after reinstalling I've got no idea what I can do to fix it.

I really hope on the second stage roll out the 270x and 280x get supported with VSR! Do you think it will be a likely scenario?
