Has anyone thought to check the performance of the 13.10 B2 Driver.

I just installed them and ran a quick Valley bench

On 13.10: @ 1150 / 1500 = 1517
On 13.10 B2: @ 1150 / 1500 = 1589 + 5%

Heaven 4 is exactly there same as 13.10.

It could just be stale older Drivers on my part

Click on the DL link its shows 13.10 B2 once you do that.

I'll give Valley a run with the two drivers next time I'm on.

Regarding the FIFA profile, is this just something that will automatically activate when I load the game or do I manually activate it?

Yes install drivers and then play Fifa.

My scores are pretty much the same. On an overclocked 7950 my valley bench @ Extreme HD was 1888 with 13.10 and 1887 with 13.10v2, but my min and max fps are a little higher even though the score is the same.

Sounds that way. I wasn't expecting any performance gains from 13.10b1 and so it turns out to be.

Thinking of two 7970s (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-293-AS) given their low price. Can I rely on decent drivers from AMD currently? I have been Green for a long time

Don't you have a 680 SLI setup already? Unless you're at 1440p/1600p not sure its worth switching for a 5-10% performance gain, assuming you overclock. Though if you're doing it for possible mantle benefits, then fair enough.

Frame pacing works great btw so no issues there. Not that ive personally ever had any major ones with AMD drivers.

I wish to go AMD now due to Mantle but also the price point for the 7XXX range. I may upgrade to two 290Xs later

So - back to my original question - from what you have said two 7970s will be fine with no stutter in BF3 / other games?

Happy 7970 xfire user here but if buying today i would find it hard to resist 7950 crossfire for pure bang for buck

I received my Asus 7970 today (single card, no xfire) and just wanted to know if i should be using the beta drivers or not?

Also, is GPU tweak any good or should i be using an alternative?
