If AMD does do this announcement thing tomorrow, what do we think that will look like?
I feel like if it was a big on stage presentation with Lisa standing of stage holding up a card, the youtube channel would already have a count down going.
So maybe they send out a press briefing to all the various media who will all put out videos that let them show off some adm slides and maybe unbox a card?

Thoughts?
 
People have already had 9070/xts in their hands at CES, AIBs brought them all out, so it feels like they're going to be ready to talk about dates and slides very soon.

I don't think it'll be like Nvidia's, I reckon low-key, aimed at gamers will be just fine. They've already done the AI boredom at CES.

Most likely they can just drop a video announcing the cards with release day and pricing and then show a few benchmarks.

You may well be right, but AMD were talking last week like they were going to properly present the 9070/xt, but didn't to wait and see what Nvidia did. So it's surely not like they have much to do. They've technically already announced the cards, it's just the specifics.

But then they did say they wanted to give it a proper space etc.

In summary, I dunno either :cry:

Dunno, big rappers etc just drop new album's don't they? Imagine if AMD just drops the 9070xt for sale before the 5000 series is released...

Oh for sure, but they changed their naming scheme to make it absolutely clear what they're competing against. Whatever real-world performance is like, they're undoubtably aimed at the 5070 and should release before. Even if it's 30% better than a 5070ti and $250 cheaper they'll struggle if it comes out after it.
