*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Definitely mainstream pricing there!

$650 works out at £620 in the UK and Powercolor is not one of the more expensive AMD OEMs IIRC. The RX7900XT has been in the same approximately price range for a while.

That means an RX9060XT will be a $500 card if an RX9070 non-XT is a $650 card.

£600+ for an RX9070 non-XT would need it to beat an RX7900XT at the very minimum. But the issue is the RX7900XT has 25% more VRAM and more memory bandwidth too.

I am not sure what games the Nvidia and AMD pricing cartel are playing here, but it will only mean people will keep graphics cards longer and longer as the cost increases. Longer term, they are going to end up with card sales shrinking more and more.

If the $750 is accounting for 10% tarrifs then that pretty much comes to around £650 in the UK with vat. That seems ok for the xt.

MSRP means nothing these days, Nvidia has cards with an MSRP of $999 but are retailing for $1500 and cards with $2000 MSRP retailing for $3500

There just no logic here, MSRP is meaningless
Unless maybe if can get MBA day 1 and be very quick :)

Hopefully it is CAD as that would be aggressive and be under £500

As for MSRP, part of the huge mark up with Nvidia is down to supply I think. By all accounts AMD have had stock with retailers for weeks so ideally there'll be a good supply and avoid this.

It's all it's, but's and hopes at the moment though.

Don’t forget once USD to GBP converted add 20% VAT and you will have the UK price which is £750ish. Still a bit steep for a mid range x70 class card tbh.

He added it for you that is the UK price if its $650. If we are generous and mark it up the reference card should be under £650 and the AIB fluffed versions 7-800.

That's because PC Gamers have more money than sense.

Edit: folk are buying them and with limited stock, everything is going mad.

Not if they just set that as the worldwide price - I don't trust Nvidia/AMD after what they did during the Pandemic.

Even then that still makes the RX9070 non-XT more expensive than an RTX5070 FE.

I added the VAT already - £620 is still a lot for a 70 class card.

These rumours are getting more crazy by the day :D

I swear they make it up from random comments under other rumour articles LOL

According to the same leaker, Chiphell's "Zhangzhonghao" who has a good history with AMD leaks, it looks like AMD may have changed the name of its 32 GB "RDNA 4" model. Instead of calling it the Radeon RX 9070 XT, the model is now rumored to be called the Radeon RX 9070 XTX.
