*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

I hope the reviews do a good number of the different models and we don't just get loads of the expensive Asus and gigabyte cards reviewed. Wanna see the Sapphire and Powercolor ones too, plus not just the top models. But probably a lot to ask unless the sites have had drivers for a while now and thus a good amount of time to test multiple cards.
I hope to see a Reaper and a Pulse reviewed for the XT and non XT. I'm sure there will be a few on here that will be happy enough to post pictures and performance figures.

Techpowerup usually have a reasonable selection of brands on launch day. Look here for when the 7900XTX was released...

We had a pretty good spectrum of model reviews with the 7900s, and the supply was lower with those. I expect we'll have a good selection on release.

I'm not convinced there will be that much overclocking headroom on the XT models. Personally I think AMD has already pushed it a long way to compete with the 5070Ti. I'm reminded of the slide from the presentation with the average XT performance to be -2% on a 5070Ti with an overclocked XT +2% against a Ti. I wouldn't even count a 2% difference to be particularly significant.

Had some interesting info come my way today, that on a strip down of a normal RX 9070 (non-XT) that is it has 24Gbps Samsung memory IC's, not sure why that would be, but they aren't exactly expensive so could be interesting to see which cards have them on.

i live in hope :D be great to get an additional 10%, hopefully some reviews will look at overclocking

Maybe they should have done a comparison with cards with missing ROPs

I presume the AMD figures were based on reference designs like the xfx reaper.

The red devil oc cards might push further they appear to have the highest clocks, at 3100 boost clock.

We'll find out in a couple of days though.

I am thinking of getting one of the Sapphire NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 9070 XT's. As I like how it has the hidden power connectors. But one thing I am trying to find out is if it turns off the fans when the card is idle or under light load, as this one thing that my current 2070 Super does that I would want any replacement to also do.

All AMD cards I have owned for the last 6 years do this. Current gre nitro does

Don't see why not , old 5700xt Sapphire NITRO I have does

Annoyingly, the design of these is quite nice :(

Can you get these in the UK?

EDIT CHINA only.

It’s a 2% difference but a 4% swing. If there’s OC AIBs are 4% faster than the based models, that point to decent headroom. Possibly 8% - 10% if they can be pushed to 360w.

I'll happily leave those for the overclocking bro's. I'll be happy with with a base Sapphire Pulse. Hell, if it goes anything like I'm pessimistically expecting, I might even consider a base 9070, though my wallet groans at the prospect of buying a gimped gpu for such a small price differential.
