*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

1080p
Ultra
Frame gen on

To see how other cards perform, seems the 9070XT is performing significantly better than those left on user submitted scores

bare in mind the benchmark is running on a Intel core ultra 9 285k, not a gaming CPU on likely weird drivers.
To be honest I don't actually mind as long as its faster I am in for FSR 4, the upgrade is in play as my lad is expecting my card in May.

Quick one, why as well would you run at 1080p? Is that not meaning CPU is more important? I always get confused which way round it goes for stress testing a GPU.

lower res = more frames
more frames = more for the CPU to process

So lower settings and lower res is to test the CPU
higher settings and higher res is to test the GPU

translation is very high, which I assume is ultra

Ok... you can't have frame gen without FSR so FSR has to be on, i'll put it to quality.

A lot of CPU bottlenecking in this, not entirely but i would say for about 70% of this my GPU was at around 80 to 90% and a 285K is not much better at gaming than my 5800X, not even joking looks at reviews... its better, but not much.

I don't think we can get much from this, i think a lot of the performance we see in that result is the CPU, not the GPU, i mean 1080P, with FSR and Frame Gen.... these are choices you make from a CPU benchmark, not a GPU benchmark, its crap.

Bone stock RX 7800 XT, not that this matters, could be anything....

Sorry for weird Windows HDR colour on the screenshot.
