Lets me get this straight AMD

You want me to pay $699 ,which translates to £700 because we get shafted here in the uk, for a RX VEGA water cooler which cannot compete with a 1080TI in performance but is a 1080TI PRICE.

AND only available in September.

I will take 10 please:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Save your money and power bill people buy NVIDIA.

No Thanks! I would sooner give up PC gaming! :D I do agree AMD have been very strange with this Vega release and I am totally P'ed off that I am still using a R9 290 even though it has done me very well I have been still to this day enjoying latest releases.

But I still stand by AMD and there approach to PC gaming and Open Source this is the biggest reason I wont support Nvidia with my cash.

I liked how Nvidia have now opened up GameWorks completely now remains to be seen what that does for AMD if they can edit the code etc that is one Good move but Not supporting Adaptive-sync the locking down of other stuff like PhysX ages ago when a user was also using an AMD card + Nvidia was also a joke!
They is just so much wrong with Nvidia for me to give them my money! So i'll leave it has this otherwise this thread with end up with GPU war posts.
So please dont replay to this post with anything why Nvidia is the best! because I dont care in a nice way :D

Btw i wonder whose brilliant idea was to put 980ti into comparison slide instead of 1070 lol That thing actually made things look even worse. Seriously on gpu side every department equally sucks :p

The Air Cooled clockspeeds are dissapointing especially the 56 compared to the FE

64 1546/1247
56 1471/1156
FE 1600/1382

Yeah to stay in a lower TDP/TBP, so they can put a 8+6 on the reference version (silly imo). I'll imagine that the AIB ones will clock around 1600 with 8+8.

They are clearly comparing their last and current gen vs the competition. Don't see the problem.

The real problem is unless performance is magically much better across the board, they are majorly late, a lot less efficient and taking the biscuit with their pricing. Very disappointing. The only thing they got going for them is Freesync to be honest.

Might consider the Vega 56 as long as it can beat the 1070 at everything with ease for that price.

D.P said AMD have confirmed like released a statement ? Lool Silly D.P :D Am sorry but them slides look so bloody fake and if its anything lately AMD slide look nothing like that.

So i wait for the official post directly from AMD.
They did, AMD have released official slides with pricing.

Stop trolling

Abysmal to say the least. At least now we know what the big push being freesync was in the demos. And no availability til an unspecified time in September? Just laughably bad to say the least.

Radeon technologies group, giving you last years performance today. :(

The TDPs are high-
64 Liquid 345W
64 Air 295W

Big drop to the 56 though
56 Air 210W

It shows how the power dramatically ramps up for the higher clocks. Obviously the 56 has fewer cores and slower memory but that's a big difference.
