Running the Firestreik Ultra I get this score:

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/21550922?

I get 4961 points with a Xeon E3 1230 V2.

Looking at leak, that would place the Vega64 at least at higher resolution around 10% above my GTX1080 FE,or roughly around aftermarket GTX1080 performance.

If your 1080 FE is running at 1898Mhz, like it says, then its running the same as AIB 1080's.

I blame Loadsamoney it is all his posts :p.

If the performance is there, especially good minimums, then I am not as bothered about power consumption much. Makes very little difference even in the long run unless you are retired and game 24/7 or something :)

Not too fussy about power consumption myself but it is something that really stands out vs the nvidia equivalents. Last time it was this bad from what i can remember was 2900xt and that card got crucified by most reviews. If it was a 1080ti competitor then i think it would get a pass and most reviews wouldn't make the power a big a deal as they undoubtedly will if its only a bit better than 1080, which looks like being the case.

Tick tock :o

Stock 1080 scores around 22k while overclocked being around 24-25k.

Looking forward to the reviews tomorrow.

If it scores over a 1080, a decent price. I'm pretty sure it's tdp can be forgiven.
Depends if 499+ you consider descent

yep im not too fussed about power consumption either, im sure my old 7970 crossfire used more than these vegas let alone my old 290 crossfire setup and they did not make me panic about the leccy bill

Well, if the reviews are bad, I can see a lot of the remaining TWO nvidia cards going out of stock very quickly tomorrow (although looks like most of the good deals already have).
