Should be no surprise that if you overclock a card pegged one below that it gets close to the stock one above.

1080 performance it's going to be then.

Still a Ti can get 32.5k-33k gfx with a decent overclock.

Lets just hope they price Vega accordingly.

I also love that the last part of genuinely new information on Vega is then ignored for more of the same sort of moaning the last 50 pages had - didn't we have this discussion about Freesync/GSync like last week or the week before in the same thread??

Looks like the age of AMD DX12 dominance is over, Nvidia up their DX12 game and AMDs DX12 advantage is no more. The future is bleak for radeon if vega is the failure we expect it to be.

Funny when you look at the Fury X performance against a GTX1080 though!

So that means a Vega FE is barely 10% to 15% faster than a Fury X.LOL.

a 1070 mxm laptop card clocked scores 21-22k.
a 1080 mxm laptop card clocked scores 23-25k

Stock 1080 scores around 22k while overclocked being around 24-25k.

Looking forward to the reviews tomorrow.

If it scores over a 1080, a decent price. I'm pretty sure it's tdp can be forgiven.

I get 4961 points with a Xeon E3 1230 V2.

Looking at leak,that would place the Vega64 at least at higher resolution around 10% above my GTX1080 FE,or roughly around aftermarket GTX1080 performance.
