Lets give it a chance first. At 2 Oclock, then we can say its rubbish :)
Usually I would agree with you. But every single sign shows that it is. Including these leaked reviews.

I was one of a few people here who was optimistic in AMD and Vega that they would at least match 1080Ti performance from about a year ago. Everyone was saying 1070 performance, max 1080, but I could not get my head around how they could improve so little from an Fury X. So you can imagine I am severely underwhelmed and disappointed with what they managed to come up with all that time and tech. Might be a great card for compute, but not for gaming in comparison to what Nvidia offer.

Only way I see myself getting one now is if it mines well to pay for itself :(

The minimums seem worse than a 1080 most of the time.
If this turns out to be the case on reviews across the board when they come out, AMD will have lost even more respect, as they banged on about minimums.

Let's see, 6 hours to go.

this is hard assuming the LE is 700, i coukd be tempted in buying a 1080 maybe ti and a gsync screen and sell my freesync / r290 to compensate. assuming i can get a £200 for the combo that puta the nvidia route of £1k somewhat more favourable overrall (100 £ for a mich better screen, but wouldnt be ultrawide).

I always figured it would be about the performance of an overclocked 1080. Still hope for that. Slim, but who knows. I'm going to wait to see what Guru3d and Techpowerup say about it before I make my assessment.
If it mines great I'd also buy one. With my NEO wealth :D

It's bad, 460 watt for aio and 360 for air cooled vega 64. 2x+ 1080 power use. AMD radeon are in a bad place right now. How could they get it so wrong...

Poor Volta:D, what a total mess. Heads should be rolling in their department.

The problem is these Gpu most likely cost so much to make they can't afford a price war with NVIDIA. They just gonna rely on freesync and miners as customers.
Not even driver updates can save its performance gap with 1080TI.

The power draw is crazy! 450w OMG:eek: and nowhere near TI performance.

Its just too much.
